Hey Girlies!

I just wanted to apologize. It may be a few days before I can post about my weekend and all the fun stuff we have done the past few days. I have been feeling under the weather and I start classes tomorrow! But... How were your first days? I will call yall soon. Love you!

The Day of our Samuri

Today Brenna and I decided to buy a fish for our room. So we headed off the PetCo to carefully select our new friend. We finally decided on a cute little betta fish and named him Samuri. We bought some glow in the dark grass for him and everything.

However, after a few hours we noticed a lack of moving in his body....turns out he died =( Our friend Katy also bought one and a few hours later he died too. We are having a memorial for Samuri and Eden later tonight but plan to visit PetCo tomorrow with our dead fish to get some new ones.

On top of that our basketball goal fell. We have since then secured it on the wall with massive amounts of tape. We even have lines on the ground to mark the different types of shots (Free throw, 3 point, Brenna's Line, Leah's line and Katy's line)

We also decided the effort of walking down 3 flights of stairs was too much for all three of us (Katy Brenna and I) to throw away our trash. So Brenna threw the trash out the window to us downstairs and we tossed it in the dumpster. However, Brenna "Missed" the ground and one bag got stuck in a tree. After LOTS of hard work we finally got it down.

We also had the Jungle Party tonight. Some people dressed ridiculously crazy (chickens, gorillas, power rangers?) but we kept it normal. Before we left though Brenna caught a gecko in our room and trapped it under a cup and a waterbottle. When we got back HOURS later to see if it was dead....it wasnt! So we now have a pet gecko loose in our room....who knows with our luck how long he will last =) Here are a few pictures from the day!

Thank you SO much for putting up pictures of your room. I love them!!! I have to admit I had a hard time yesterday because I wanted to be with you SO badly! I am so thankful that you are my sister and one of my very best friends. I am looking forward to our blog though and getting to share with each other all of lifes twists and turns. I will put up pics when I get home of WOF. I LOVE YOU!!

Move In to Baylor!

I have officially moved into my dorm at Baylor. It was a surprisingly easy process as none of us had to carry a single box into the room! It was nice how it was done for us. This is the room from many different views to give you an idea of how it looks. The pictures are not of the completed room but those will definately come soon!
